
Airman Identified in Fatal Motorcycle Accident
PINE, Idaho — A 25-year-old Airman with Mountain Home’s 366th Health Care Operations Squadron was killed in a motorcycle accident on Sept. 14 near Pine, Idaho.
The victim, Kyra Badrian of Silver Spring, Maryland, lost control of her motorcycle while navigating a turn around 1:50 p.m., according to a statement from Mountain Home Air Force Base. Despite life-saving efforts by two fellow Airmen, Badrian died at the scene.
Col. Roderick James, commander of the 366th Fighter Wing, released a statement mourning the loss:
“Our Gunfighters mourn the loss of a fellow Airman, teammate and friend. She was doing the right thing — enjoying Idaho’s outdoors with her wingmen. We will stand with her family, friends, and the Gunfighter community during this difficult time.”
Car Strikes Residence in Kuna
KUNA, Idaho — On Sept. 17, deputies with the Kuna Police Department responded to reports of a car crashing into a home near North Klemmer Avenue and West Crenshaw Street.
The crash happened around 4 p.m. Police confirmed there were no serious injuries. Utility crews were called to assist while officers investigated the cause.
Authorities asked drivers to avoid the area while emergency personnel worked at the scene. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
