
City Election Results
Post Falls:
Randy Westlund won the race for mayor of Post Falls, defeating Scot Haug and Ronald Jacobson. Aaron Plew secured City Council Seat 2, while Marc Lucca won City Council Seat 6.
Coeur d’Alene:
Dan Gookin was elected mayor. Amy Evans retained City Council Seat 2, and Kiki Miller won City Council Seat 6.
Hayden:
Ed DePriest won City Council Seat 2, and David Erickson won Seat 4.
Rathdrum:
John Hodgkins was elected to City Council Seat 3.
Spirit Lake:
Charlene Phipps won the mayoral race outright, avoiding a runoff. Terry L. Moore and Darrell Woods were elected to the City Council.
Athol:
Cindi Devine won City Council Seat 3, and Shane McDaniel won Seat 4.
Hayden Lake:
Kurt Lyon was elected to City Council Seat 2, and Kathleen Collins won Seat 3.
Fernan Lake Village:
Jim Goodsen won City Council Seat 1.
Harrison:
Wanda Irish was elected mayor.
State Line:
Keith Warner was elected mayor.
Worley:
Richard Wienclaw was elected to the City Council.
School District Elections
Post Falls School District:
Neil Uhrig won Trustee Zone 1, and Kelli Johnson won Zone 5.
Coeur d’Alene School District:
Rick Rasmussen won Trustee Zone 1, and Lesli Bjerke won Zone 4.
Lakeland Joint School District:
David Quimby won Trustee Zone 4, and Jeff Brodhead won Zone 5.
Kootenai Joint School District:
Richard Meyer (Zone 1), Jamie Jenicek (Zone 4), and Graydon Myhre (Zone 5) were elected.
Plummer-Worley Joint School District:
Michelle Grossglauser was elected Trustee for Zone 1.
Fire Districts and Ballot Measures
Jon Hoffman was elected Kootenai County Fire & Rescue Commissioner for Subdistrict 3.
Stewart Kuespert won the Northern Lakes Fire District Subdistrict 3 race.
Oden Olson and Matt Church were elected in Timberlake Fire District Subdistricts 2 and 4, respectively.
The Kootenai County Fire & Rescue budget increase measure failed to reach the required two-thirds majority, while the Kellogg Joint School District supplemental levy narrowly passed.
