7 Killed in Idaho Crash Near Yellowstone

HENRY’S LAKE — Seven people died Thursday evening when a tour van and a pickup truck collided on U.S. Highway 20 near Henry’s Lake, about 20 miles west of Yellowstone National Park.

Idaho State Police said a van carrying 14 people, mostly Chinese tourists, caught fire after colliding with a Dodge Ram. Six van passengers and the truck’s driver, 25-year-old Isaih Moreno of Texas, were killed.

At least eight others were injured, with three airlifted. The group was en route to Yellowstone through Ctour Holiday LLC. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
