Two Found Dead After Welfare Check in Southeast Boise
BOISE, Idaho — Authorities in Ada County are investigating a suspected murder-suicide after two individuals were found dead in a Boise home on Monday afternoon.
Deputies with the Ada County Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare check request around 4 p.m. at a residence on South Brian Way, located near Warm Springs Avenue and Highway 21. Upon entering the home, officers discovered the bodies of a man and a woman, both of whom had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
Investigators Suspect Son Shot Mother Before Taking His Own Life
Preliminary findings suggest the male subject fatally shot the woman—identified by investigators as his mother—before turning the weapon on himself. The investigation remains active, but authorities believe there is no ongoing threat to the public.
