Man Accused of Violent Attack and Setting Mobile Home Ablaze
NAMPA, Idaho — A Nampa man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, first-degree arson, and destruction of evidence after a violent altercation and fire at a mobile home Monday night.
According to the Nampa Police Department, officers responded around 7:14 p.m. to reports of an assault and structure fire near 3rd Street North and 11th Avenue South. Upon arrival, officers found a mobile home engulfed in flames and detained Steven Clifford Delisle Jr., 45, at the scene.
Victim Hospitalized with Serious Injuries
Police said the victim, who was known to the suspect, sustained serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. Delisle Jr. was also taken to the hospital for evaluation of self-inflicted wounds.
Charges and Bond Details
As of Tuesday afternoon, Delisle Jr. is being held at Ada County Jail on $1 million bond and awaits transfer to Canyon County Jail.
