
SHOSHONE COUNTY, Idaho — Sheriff Holly Lindsey of Shoshone County is on a “sudden and unexpected” medical leave, according to an announcement from the sheriff’s office.
Officials stated that Lindsey is expected to return to her role around July 20 and expressed confidence in her full recovery.
Leadership Transition
While Sheriff Lindsey is away, Undersheriff Lance Stutzke will assume her responsibilities and oversee the department’s operations. The office noted that public services and law enforcement activities will continue without interruption during the transition.
