Tractor Supply Begins Construction on $225M Distribution Center in Nampa

NAMPA, Idaho — Tractor Supply Company has officially broken ground on a new 865,000-square-foot distribution center in Nampa, marking its first major logistics expansion into the Pacific Northwest.

The project represents an estimated $225 million investment in Canyon County and will become the rural lifestyle retailer’s 11th distribution hub nationwide. Once completed, the facility is expected to support more than 200 stores across the region, including existing locations in Middleton, Kuna, and Emmett.

Designed to meet LEED certification standards, the center is projected to be operational by late 2026 or early 2027. Recruitment for the new facility is expected to begin in mid-2026, eventually bringing over 500 full-time jobs to the area.

“We’re excited to expand our distribution network to the Pacific Northwest,” said Colin Yankee, chief supply chain officer for Tractor Supply. “This facility not only supports our growing footprint but also reflects our commitment to community and agricultural values shared in Idaho.”

Nampa was chosen after the company evaluated potential sites across five states.

The announcement follows the March 2024 opening of Tractor Supply’s largest distribution center to date, located in Maumelle, Arkansas. That facility spans 1.1 million square feet and services 250 stores, while also managing online fulfillment in the region.

Tractor Supply currently operates 12 retail locations in Idaho and more than 2,290 stores across 49 U.S. states. The company’s distribution network now includes centers stretching from the Northeast to the Southwest.
